How Do HIFU and Bipolar RF Work?

HIFU stands for high-intensity focused ultrasound. Ultrasound-based skin-tightening treatments deliver heat at selected depths to encourage a collagen response.

Bipolar RF uses radiofrequency energy delivered between electrodes to heat tissue. This is an external handpiece treatment, rather than RF microneedling.
